Dayton Mall: Free Family Event Saturday

This Saturday 3/13 at 2pm the Dayton Mall is having a FREE Alice In Wonderland Dance-Along event. There will be dancers from The Miami valley Dance Company. They will be providing tutus, tiaras and wands for everyone too! This event will to be held near Sears downstairs.  This sounds like a sweet time for that little dancer in your family.

Lowes: Build and Grow Clinic- Tabletop Basketball Game

This Saturday 3/13 Lowes is having their bi-monthly Build and Grow Clinic from 10-11am. They are building a “Tabletop Basketball game” this month for the clinic. Online registration is required, and there is a list of stores that are participating

Each participant  receives a free apron, a project themed patch, goggles and a certificate upon completion of their project. Although it does specify school age- as long as your child can follow instructions and handle hammering they will allow them to come. (We started going when our son was 4 yr old) This is always a great weekend activity.

City of Springboro: Hometown Expo

The City of Springboro, OH is having their annual Hometown Expo '10. "That Spring Thing" is Saturday 3/13.  Head over to Springboro High School from 10am-4pm. There are over 160 exhibits, entertainment, samples, kids activities, lots of giveaways. Free admission. Make sure you bring a bag for all your "loot" that you'll get. 

Secret tip- Do you have some of those address labels with your info on them? Bring those along instead of having to fill out all those entry forms for the numerous giveaways that are there. ;)

Babies R Us: Super Baby Shower 3/13

Are you expecting or do you know someone who is? Well BabiesRUs is hosting a Super Baby Shower this Saturday 3/13 from 12-3pm. This is for all expectant moms as well as their family and friends. Books and Co: Storytime Tuesday

Books and Co at The Greene is having story time at 10:30am on Tuesday. They actually have story time every Tuesday year round, or as long as the bookstore is open. We love going and Ms. Ann does a great job with the kids and making them feel welcome and have fun! I'm bummed that we can't make it right now because of C being in school, but I can't wait until we can go back again.

UPDATE: One of our readers was kind enough to let me know that Vets don't have military ID (I had no idea). So I called Outback (in Centerville, OH to be exact) to ask them about if they would honor this offer although they don't have ID. Momtopia Monday: Dayton Mall, March 8

Well it's time for Momtopia! March 8 at 10 am the Dayton Mall is having Momtopia Monday. This month Miss Joanie will be perfoming “Miss Joanie’s Potty Party.” The Dayton Mall will provide tutus, tiaras and magic wands to promote the Miami Valley Dance Company.

Also for the first time Chick-fil-A is hosting  "Moments for Moms" from 12:30pm-1:30pm at Chick-fil-a. Let your children enjoy story time, crafts, and dances with the Chick-fil-A Cow and a FREE Icedream cup!

Boonshoft Museum: FREE Admission March 6

Have you been to the Boonshoft Museum in Dayton yet? Well, if you were waiting for a great deal to come along... here it is! 

This Saturday, March 6 from 9-noon the Montgomery County Solid Waste District is honoring and celebrating the earth.  There is FREE admission for the first 300 children with a colored Litter Bugs Me page from the Montgomery County Solid Waste District. Coloring pages are available at the Museum or online. 

We did this a few years ago and C had a blast running around playing and looking at the animals. Although I would suggest getting there early and bringing a snack. :)

Home Depot: Kids Workshop Rain Gauge
